Interact is an inclusive drama and music scheme for people over 18 years who need support to access drama, dance and music activities. We aim to work to produce both a Christmas and a Summer show each year. Interact meets on Mondays from 7 – 9 pm at St Georges Community Centre, 2 Mornington Terrace, Harrogate and costs £7.50 per evening.
Members are required to bring along their own support for the evening, also will need to organise their own transport to and from the venue.
Interact has space for nineteen members, with a waiting list beyond that -
Interact is supported by our Committee and the weekly sessions are run by a team of committed volunteers, music, dance and drama teachers and our resident Interact Band. Interact is Harrogate’s original performing arts group for people who need support, with over 24 years experience. For the group to carry on flourishing we always welcome :

- Prizes for our tombolas and raffles for our craft fairs

Interact provides a safe, enjoyable and welcoming environment for people who may
have difficulty accessing mainstream drama and music activities. The group aims
to give members an opportunity to explore drama, dance and music by working to produce
two shows per year and to organise exercises that build confidence, develop life
skills and enhance self-
Interact’s band is led by professional musicians, members and volunteers who play various instruments including piano, lead and bass guitar, saxophone, keyboard, percussion and ukulele.
